Claw coupling half 12mm Series 08 4mm keyway Connection of two shafts Speed up to 16000 rpm

This claw coupling can be used to connect a 12 mm shaft to another shaft. It is fixed by two set screws and holds a 4 mm keyway for a secure fit. It fits together with another CL8-25 Series claw coupling of any shaft size with an intermediate hard elastomer spider in between.

claw couplings are ideal for high torque applications and applications where shafts of two different sizes need to be coupled. This coupling series is designed for torques up to 60 kg cm and speeds up to 16000 rpm.

If you have slip problems, you can file a groove into the shaft where the adjusting screws hold it in place. You can also use a Loctite adhesive on the set screws to make sure they stay in place.

Assembly


This claw half-coupling connects to any other CL8-25 series half-coupling with a coupling rod pressed in between. The other half and spider are both sold separately.
