The DFRobot DF9GMS is a 360 degree microservo. It uses a plastic gear drive and is lightweight & compact. This can be used for various applications and DIY products such as toy cars, boats, windmills etc..
The operation of a 360 degree servo is more similar to a DC motor than standard servos because only direction of rotation and speed can be controlled. There is also no hardware stop inside so that the shaft can rotate freely. Compared to a conventional DC motor, a 360-degree servo motor does not require any additional motor drivers and is Plug & Play compact and convenient. The Arduino control methods are also the same. When the servo is operated on the 4.8 ~ 6V power supply, the torque can reach 1.2 ~ 1.6Kg x cm.
