This is a piezoresistive force sensor. The higher you press, the lower the resistance of the sensor. By slight pressure the resistance changes from infinite to ~300k. The sensor itself is dünn and flexible, but the resistance does not change during bending. The resistance only changes when pressure is applied to the round surface at the end of the sensor. Used as a test sensor (person standing), weight sensor, pressure sensor (shock test), etc..

The total length is approximately 8.5". The sensor is supplied with a 0.1" distance-separated, reinforced, panel-friendly plug. This sensor is available in three versions. This sensor ranges from 0 to 1lb pressure.
