This is an analog sound sensor that is compatible with Arduino. The sound sensor is typically used to detect the volume in the environment. The Arduino can detect its output signal and activate it accordingly. You can use it to create some fun interactive projects like a "clap and buzz" to find your lost keys, or the remote when you add a buzzer.
As one of our new versions of breakout boards, we have improved the analog sound sensor below:
> Wide voltage range from 3.3V to 5V
Standard mounting construction (two 3 mm holes with a multiple of 5 cm spacing)
Easy to detect sensor interfaces ("A" for the sound sensor);r analog and "D" for digital)
symbols for easy visualization of sensor function
high-quality plug
dipped gold surface
