In most Arduino projects, relays are the first choice to drive a large power device. They require a certain amount of current to drive the internal coil to the pick-up contact. For some MCUs, such as Intel Edison, Intel Joule, lilypad, Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers with limited amount of current GPIO, it is difficult to operate one or more relays simultaneously. The MOSFET power controller is a module that can operate a high current limited current GPIO device. It works as a MOSFET relay or MOSFET driver. When you give it a high level digital signal (3.3~10V), the MOSFET turns on and vice versa.
In comparison to the relay module, the MOSFET power controller is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Lattepanda and other microcontrollers, supporting 3.3~10V logic power control. The VIN connector supports 5~36V; 0~20A current consumption, if the current is above 10A, we recommend an external Kühlkürper. MOSFET supports a fast ON-OFF switch, the switching frequency reaches 1KHz.
The MOSFET power controller is supplied with a standard PH2.0-3P gravity interface. This makes the module compatible with the Arduino IO expansion board. Plug and Play, easy to use.
