The PhidgetSBC3 is a single board computer with an integrated PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8/8. Basically it can be called a Phidget to connect it via a network cable instead of USB. The PhidgetSBC3 also has six high-speed ports that allow you to use normal USB phidgets over the network connection. This allows a Phidget's effective range of up to 15 feet to be extended to all areas your network reaches.
The PhidgetSBC3 provides an easy-to-use interface for setting up and running custom applications onboard. This allows the PhidgetSBC3 to operate autonomously without the need for a graphical user interface or remote connection.
Füfor more advanced users, the PhidgetSBC is an embedded computer running Debian GNU/Linux. We provide full shell access via an integrated SSH server, access to the full Debian package repository, and all the standard command line tools expected on a modern Linux system.
An integrated PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8/8/8 allows you to connect devices to one of the 8 analog inputs, 8 digital inputs, and 8 digital outputs. It offers a generic, convenient way to connect your PC and PhidgetSBC to a variety of devices and works just like an external Phidget InterfaceKit.
