Üoverview
>In the gearbox of the 200:1 plastic geared motor with 90 degree output.
>This 200:1 plastic geared motor (gearbox with gebürstetem DC motor) is a cost-effective alternative to modified hobby servos or Tamiya gearboxes. The low current motor is the perfect complement to our qik 2s9v1 Dual Serial Motor Controller, Baby Orangutan Robot Controller or DRV8833 Dual Motor Driver Carrier, and the compact size makes this unit an attractive choice for small robot designs. The recommended operating voltage range for this motor is 3 V to 12 V.
>This is a higher torque, slower version of the 120:1 plastic 90 degree output geared motor. At 6 V, the gearbox and motor deliver about 100 oz-in torque and 51 rpm. The freewheel current is 70 mA and the standstill current is 800 mA. The gear is supported by a built-in safety clutch which typically slips before the gearing can shear.
This gear motor is supplied pre-assembled, fully enclosed with the gear teeth, and the output shaft is 6 mm long and 7 mm in diameter, with two sides flattened. The output shaft is at an angle of 90° to the axis of the motor shaft; we also sell a similar geared motor with an offset output shaft.
