This JR connector has a pin spacing of 2.5mm and fits the female JR connectors that are common on RC servos. The corresponding JR socket has two slightly sloped corners, which makes it difficult (but not impossible) to insert it incorrectly into this socket. This package contains three female JR cases, three male JR shrouds and two gold-plated crimp contacts, enough for three complete plugs and three spare pins. The crimp pins are designed for 22-26 AWG wires, and we sell a crimp tool that goes well with them. You can use these connectors to make your own custom servo cables or servo extension cables.
To assemble the connectors, slide the crimped pins into the socket housing until they snap into place (the pins protrude from the sockets), then slide them into the housing. When you look into the housing, you will see a raised dent located closer to one of the two openings; this is the opening into which you should insert the connector assembly, and you should insert the assembly so that the side of the receptacle housing with the crimp pins points to the side of the housing with the dent. If you've done things right, you will hear a snapshot when you slide the woman's walker into the walker and it snaps into place. Note that if you need a cable that you can plug into a breadboard and not a JR connector, you can omit the cover.
