Overview
This kit contains two two-channel Hall effect sensor boards and two 6-pin magnetic plates that can be used to provide two miniature plastic gearmotors with extended quadrature side shafts (motors are not supplied with this kit). The encoder board detects the rotation of the magnetic disk and provides a resolution of 12 values per revolution of the motor shaft when both edges of both channels are rotated. To calculate the number of revolutions per revolution of the gear output shaft, multiply the ratio by 12.
